Syunik Women Entrepreneurship Incubation Program (SWEIP) is a one-year incubation program by Impact Hub Syunik funded by Finland in South Caucasus that supports women entrepreneurship and gender equality in the region of Syunik.
Goals & Benefits
Syunik Women Entrepreneurship Incubation Program will actively support local women entrepreneurs based in the Syunik region (15 women-led initiatives in total) with capacity building and providing knowledge and experience. Impact Hub Syunik offers the most collaborative community to support each other and search for cooperation.
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Syunik and to boost women entrepreneurship here. The project aims to inspire, connect, and enable 15 women entrepreneurs from Syunik to develop, validate, and implement their entrepreneurial ideas that have a positive impact in Syunik and do their best in a supportive environment.
The incubation offers Impact Hub’s unique ecosystem, which includes:
- Professional individual coaching by the Program Manager
- Mentorship by entrepreneurs/professionals in their area of practice
- Membership at Impact Hub Syunik with access to an inspiring space & infrastructure
- Peer-to-peer learning component and professional networking through facilitated events amidst a community of 350+ creative innovators
- Access to 100+ Impact Hubs globally
- A collaborative community and global network of over 24,500 professionals
- Opportunity for 3 projects to receive 1.500 Euros each as financial support for the further development of their projects (please note; the winners will be announced at the end of the program)
Timeline
- The duration of the incubation is 12 months
- Application deadline: January 27th, 2023, 23:59 (Armenian local time)
- Starting time: late February 2023
Eligibility
Women-led bold and daring teams implementing ideas for the common good are eligible to apply.
All teams selected for the incubation program must commit to pursuing their initiative as a top priority (i.e. with at least 80% of their time) and promise to participate in at least 80% of programs, events and community activities at Impact Hub Syunik.
